  • The Alaska Marine Highway departs from Bellingham Washington, or Prince Rupert British Columbia.
  • We cruise the beautiful Inside Passage to Haines or Skagway, stopping in many of the local communities along the way.
    Haines or Skagway will give you access to the Alcan Highway.
    We also provide ferry service on the M/V Kennicott  twice a month across the Gulf of Alaska to Whittier. 
    Whittier to Anchorage by highway is 49 miles, Whittier to Seward is 81 miles, Whittier to Homer is 173 miles.

  • When getting off the Ferry in Haines, or Skagway Alaska, you will have to cross the border into Canada, and back into Alaska to drive to or from Anchorage or Fairbanks. For U.S. or Canadian citizens you will be required to furnish proof of citizenship,and financial responsibility. Special restrictions govern firearms and animals.
